As a huge fan of 4X strategy games, I can tell you 2025 is an amazing time to be playing! There are so many new games popping up, plus the classics are getting even better. What I love most is that these games really let *you* shape the story – it’s so addictive, you’ll always be wanting ‘one more turn’! I’ve put together my list of the 10 best 4X games you can play right now, and I’m really excited to share it. Of course, it’s just my opinion, so I’d love to hear what *you* think – let me know in the comments what your favorites are!

After a difficult start for *Battlefield 2042*, the latest response is a significant improvement. It seems EA and the development teams are determined to launch the next *Battlefield* game successfully. While EA’s goal of reaching 100 million players may seem ambitious, early signs suggest the new game will have a much smoother launch than its predecessor. Several improvements to the overall player experience should also help achieve that goal.

Many fans of *My Hero Academia* consider Endeavor to be the most well-developed character, and it’s easy to understand why. Although he’s initially portrayed as a cruel and awful hero, the story gradually reveals his complexities. Author Kohei Horikoshi skillfully humanizes Endeavor, making him sympathetic despite acknowledging his flaws and that he’s not truly a good person.

Okay, so I’ve been playing *Borderlands 4* and honestly, even though it’s super new, everyone’s already got ideas on how to make it even better. A lot of us are noticing performance issues, especially on PC, and that needs fixing. It’s funny, but a surprising number of players just want the slot machines from older games back in! But hey, it’s cool to see Gearbox actually listening to what we’re saying, so I’m hopeful they’ll keep patching things up and making the game awesome.

As a FIFA player, when I’m building my team in FC 26, I always look for tall attackers. These guys are usually my target men – I rely on them to either head the ball down for a teammate to run onto, or, even better, straight into the goal! Having tall center backs is super important too. They need to be able to challenge those opposing target men, win those aerial battles, and basically protect my goal from crosses coming in. It’s all about winning those headers!

Borderlands 4’s Legendary weapons and items are full of hidden jokes and references! It’s not just how the weapons work, but also the flavor text – the small descriptions you find. For example, the Lead Balloon Shotgun has a quote from Halo 2: “For a brick, he flew pretty good.” And the War Paint Repkit references Mad Max: Fury Road with the line, “You shall ride eternal.” There are tons of these little nods to other games and movies – like a mission keycard quoting American Psycho with “It even has a watermark.” So, next time you find a cool new weapon or item, don’t forget to read the description – you might be surprised by the funny references!

But for those who can afford it, these are truly the best Career Mode players in *EA Sports FC 26*. With the right development, they can reach the highest level of the game – or they might already be stars!
