Gearbox uses SHiFT codes to give players free items in the game, most often Golden Keys. These keys unlock Golden Chests, which contain rare and powerful in-game items. Even if you’re not actively hunting for loot in the endgame of *Borderlands 4*, SHiFT codes are a reliable way to earn Legendary items throughout the game. They’re a fantastic bonus in a game like *Borderlands 4* that’s all about collecting loot.

As a big fan of online games, it’s sadly become pretty clear that a lot of them don’t stick around forever. Maintaining those servers costs a lot, and sometimes licenses run out or the company owning the game changes. The newest example is *WWE 2K25*, and thankfully, 2K is at least giving us some warning before the online servers shut down.

You can play these games as long as you keep your PS Plus membership active at the same level you used to get them. While most free games are available with the basic ‘Essential’ plan, some, like *Bomb Rush Cyberfunk* and *No More Heroes 3*, require the ‘Extra’ or ‘Premium’ plans. The free games change every month, so don’t wait too long to download the ones you want!

Overwatch 2 has partnered with musicians and other brands several times before. Last year, the game featured a collaboration with the K-pop group LE SSERAFIM, adding hero skins inspired by the group’s members. LE SSERAFIM returned earlier this year with even more skins for characters like Mercy and D.Va, and players could also buy the previous set of skins. This year has brought other exciting partnerships, including collaborations with G.I. Joe, Street Fighter 6, NERF, and the Phantom Thieves from Persona 5.

The announcement of a big new update for *Stardew Valley* happened surprisingly during the first concert of the *Symphony of Seasons* tour. The game’s creator, ConcernedApe, quietly mentioned that Update 1.7 is on its way, which received a huge response from fans both at the concert and online. However, he’s since asked players to try and manage their excitement.
