Each month, Pokemon GO organizes a Community Day event spotlighting a specific Pokemon character. In 2025, events like these have highlighted popular choices such as Fuecoco and Sprigatito, along with elusive creatures such as Shelmet. Nevertheless, the previous Vanillite Community Day received negative feedback from players due to its low popularity in the Pokedex. Now, the creators have unveiled their plans for the event’s May installment.

Some artists even draw inspiration from sources outside of the Pokemon universe to give these pocket creatures a unique makeover, as seen in this specific example.
