In Palia, you can find many unique items by exploring the world – look on the ground, in bushes, or even when chopping trees. You might also find some of these items in shops or as rewards, like the strongly scented Wild Garlic.
Good news! Wild Garlic is a common ingredient you can find while playing Palia, and it’s useful for many things. However, even experienced players sometimes have trouble locating it. This guide will give you everything you need to know to find Wild Garlic quickly and make the most of your foraging trips.
Where to Find Wild Garlic in Palia
Wild Garlic Locations In Palia
You can find Wild Garlic growing throughout the game world. It’s a fairly common ingredient – the game says you can use it in cooking or even eat it raw! Because it’s considered ‘Uncommon,’ you’ll be able to find it in lots of different places on the map.
Wild Garlic is commonly found near Kilima Village, but we had better luck finding it in the southern part of Bahari Bay, specifically between Hideaway Bluffs and Windy Ruins, including the Pulsewater Plains. The good news is Wild Garlic grows in the open world all day long. If you can’t find any while foraging, you can purchase each one for 46 Gold at Zeki’s General Store.
Players can spend one Lucky Coin at the Wondrous Machine in the General Store for a Lucky Box, which might contain Wild Garlic. Alternatively, you can try winning an Ingredients Prize Bag – potentially including Wild Garlic – by spinning the Prize Wheel at the Palia Underground Market.
Wild Garlic Uses in Palia

While you can’t grow it yourself, Wild Garlic is a useful item in Palia. You’ll need to find it to finish quests like “Garlic Lovers” and “Home and Back Again,” as well as some Discovery, Friendship, and Romance storylines.
Gathering Wild Garlic helps you unlock three achievements: Advanced, Expert, and Master Forager. Plus, adding high-quality (Star-quality) Wild Garlic to your recipes can increase the chances of creating a Star-quality dish.
As we mentioned earlier, you can eat Wild Garlic raw for a boost of 10 Focus Points, or 15 if it’s a Star-quality version. You can also sell it to vendors in Kilima Village, like Zeki at the General Store, for 23 Gold each (or 34 Gold for Star-quality).
