Palword Reveals Surprise Collab

On September 22nd, the game *Palworld* announced a surprising collaboration with the first-person shooter *Ultrakill*. While a specific release date hasn’t been announced, Pocketpair confirmed that weapons and equipment from *Ultrakill* will be added to *Palworld* in a future update.

Ultrakill, created by Finnish developer Arsi “Hakita” Patala and first released in September 2020, is a fast-paced action game inspired by classics like *Doom*, *Quake*, and *Devil May Cry*. Players control V1, a relentless robot, and battle enemies in a campaign loosely based on *Dante’s Inferno*. In February 2025, the game received significant graphical and technical improvements to support upcoming content. Even though it’s still in early access, Ultrakill has a very positive reception on Steam, with 96% of users giving it a positive review.

Palworld Is Crossing Over With Ultrakill

Following the announcement of *Palworld: Palfarm*, Pocketpair has revealed another collaboration is in the works. This time, *Palworld* will be crossing over with *Ultrakill*. While a release date hasn’t been announced, promotional images show characters Anubis from *Palworld* and V1 from *Ultrakill*. Pocketpair has confirmed that weapons from *Ultrakill* will be added to *Palworld*, though specifics are still to come. This collaboration follows the successful *Terraria* crossover released in June 2025, which brought enemies like the Eye of Cthulhu and Moon Lord, as well as weapons like the Terraprisma sword, into *Palworld*.

As a big fan of *Palworld*, I was really excited to hear that Pocketpair is planning a full launch sometime in 2026! It’s happening despite the ongoing legal stuff with Nintendo and The Pokemon Company. It looks like we’re in for a longer early access period – potentially over two years – but that’s okay if it means they’re really focusing on making the 1.0 version amazing. They’ve said updates might slow down a bit during early access as the team prioritizes getting the full game ready, and I totally understand that. I can’t wait to see what they come up with!

Since both *Ultrakill* and *Palworld* feature a lot of guns, the upcoming collaboration will probably highlight that shared element. We’ll have to wait and see when the crossover content is released for players to experience.
