Palworld Lookalike Appears on Nintendo Store

A game similar to the well-known survival crafting title from Pocketpair, known as Palworld, has been found in the Nintendo Store.

For those who might not know, Pocketpair is currently involved in a patent infringement dispute with Nintendo and The Pokémon Company, as Nintendo claims that Palworld has violated 3 of their patents. Quite intriguingly, a game reminiscent of Palworld can now be bought on the Nintendo Store.

Palland and Palworld Look Eerily Similar

GamesRadar+ has pointed out a fresh listing for Palland on the Nintendo Store, which shares several resemblances with the game Palworld (the name alone hints at this). At first glance, players will notice parallels, such as the appearance of a red-haired woman similar to the one depicted in Palworld’s screenshots, along with various types of creatures. However, it’s worth noting that the art style between the two games exhibits some slight differences.

In the description, you’ll notice several parallels between Palland and Palworld. It’s mentioned that Palland offers a world brimming with survival, construction, and exploration adventures. Here, players decide their own strategies for collecting resources, expanding their base, and managing encounters with wild creatures that can either pose threats or serve as valuable power sources.

The video game titled Palland is retailing at $9.99, but is currently discounted to $3.99 until August 14th. You can download this digital game for your Nintendo Switch or Switch 2. The game was developed by BoggySoft and officially launched on July 31st, 2025.
