Once thought of as just a Pokemon copycat, Pocketpair’s multiplayer action-adventure, survival,

monster-taming game Palworld has broken past that and is a bonafide success.

Today, it’s been revealed that the game Palworld has amassed over 32 million players on all available platforms!

Palworld Continues Success Despite Lawsuit From Nintendo

The news came from X, where the company expressed gratitude: “A whole year has passed since we launched Palworld, and it’s you, our dear fans, who have helped us achieve an impressive milestone of over 32 million players on Steam, Xbox, and PS5 platforms!

The game was launched for PC and Xbox One platforms on January 19, 2024, and it also became available on Xbox Series X|S around the same time. This game quickly rose to the highest position on Steam’s chart of popular games. In fact, at one point, more than two million people were playing this game simultaneously on Steam. That’s already a staggering number, but when you consider that it doesn’t include players from Xbox consoles, well, that figure would surely be even higher!

Last September, Pocketpair debuted their game on the PS5, bringing joy to many PlayStation gamers who had eagerly anticipated its arrival for months. Coincidentally, in the same month of release, Nintendo initiated a legal dispute aimed at preventing the PS5 launch, but this effort was ultimately unavailing.

Currently, Pocketpair and Nintendo continue to be embroiled in a legal dispute over a particular game, with Nintendo asserting that it breaches the intellectual property rights of the Pokemon franchise.

Pocketpair released the Feybreak update in December last year, the game’s biggest content drop yet.

We haven’t received any information about the exact timing of the next significant content update, but considering we are almost at the end of February, it seems likely that it will happen shortly.
