Palworld’s Ultrakill Collab Arrives in December 2025 with ‘Home Sweet Home’ Update

The long-awaited crossover between Palworld and Ultrakill is coming on December 17, 2025.

Pocketpair first announced a Palworld collaboration with the action-packed retro shooter Ultrakill in September 2025, initially saying players would get to use some of Ultrakill’s famous weapons. A new trailer has now shown off all the details of the crossover, and also hinted at what’s coming in the 1.0 update.

Home Sweet Home Update as Ultrakill Collab Along with New Base Customization Options

The latest Palworld update trailer starts with a character from Ultrakill demonstrating the new weapons players will soon have access to. These weapons include features like mid-flight trajectory adjustments and explosive rounds. Players will also be able to deflect enemy attacks back at Pals using coins. The update, called Home Sweet Home, will also introduce base customization options, including the ability to change your base’s color.

The trailer also features a dramatic shift near the end. The screen cuts to black, and the music changes completely. For a brief moment, a massive Pal appears, towering over the characters, before the trailer concludes with the announcement “Palworld 1.0 – 2026.” This release date signifies the full launch of the game, moving it out of its early access phase, an update that was revealed earlier this year.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office is taking another look at Nintendo’s patent related to the Palworld controversy. Also, a patent attempting to block Palworld was recently denied in Japan.
