In The Passage of Malice puzzle, you’ll use the power of Axiom Force to move lasers into the correct positions. Connecting them to crystal nodes will unlock the path ahead.

The Crimson Desert puzzle can be tricky, so we’ve put together a simple, step-by-step guide to help you solve it.

  1. As you enter the Passage of Malice, look to the left wall where you will find a laser.
  2. Move the laser with Axiom Force (L3) into the center so it’s hitting the yellow crystal on the right wall.
  3. This will open up the floor and allow you to drop into the puzzle room.

Use Axiom Force on the yellow circles on either side to turn the cubes using the R2/L2 buttons and the D-pad.

How to Solve the Passage of Malice Puzzle in Crimson Desert

  1. Connect to the left side with Axiom Force.
  2. Move L2 once to the left to continue the track.
  3. Move L3 twice to the left to continue the track.
  4. Move the left laser to L3, which will shoot the crystal on the right side.
  5. Connect to the right side with Axiom Force.
  6. Move R3 twice to the right to continue the track.
  7. Connect to the left side with Axiom Force.
  8. Move L2 twice to the right to show the yellow crystal.
  9. Move the right laser from R4 to R2 to hit the crystal on the left side.
  10. Connect to the right side with Axiom Force.
  11. Move R3 back to the crystal so that the laser on L3 can shoot it to complete both sides.
  12. The door forward is now open.
  13. Inside, you will find a battery that needs to be pulled into place with Axiom Force and then hit with Force Palm.
  14. Climb to the circle dial and use Force Palm to activate it.

Activating this teleporter will transport you through the treacherous Passage of Malice, allowing you to obtain an Abyss Artifact and access a new puzzle via an Abyss Gate.
