
The latest update for Peak Mesa is now live, however, players have run into a significant issue that has halted their advancement right from the get-go. It appears that certain barriers, not visible to the eye, are obstructing progress within Peak, causing disappointment among gamers as they embark on their initial exploration of the new biome.
As a devoted fan, I eagerly anticipated the August 11 update to “Peak” Mesa, the highly acclaimed cooperative game. To my delight, this latest release introduced an exhilarating new biome ripe for exploration – a first since the game’s launch in June. The update also brought forth fresh badges, items, and even a bug-phobia mode tailored for Mesa.
However, despite these enticing additions, the much-hyped standout feature of this update has left many players feeling underwhelmed.
Invisible Wall Prevents Peak Players from Progressing in Mesa
Following the introduction of the Mesa update in Peak, users began encountering issues preventing them from advancing in the game. While attempting to reach the peak, many enthusiasts encountered an invisible barrier they couldn’t circumvent, thereby failing to complete the area. This turn of events was particularly disheartening for the community, especially as most players experienced this issue towards the end of their climb, rendering all prior progress essentially useless. Unsurprisingly, these frustrated fans turned to social media platforms such as Twitter to voice their complaints and reach out to developer Aggro Crab.
Fortunately, Aggro Crab swiftly addressed the reported problem. Within an hour of a player’s tweet, they confirmed that a solution was being developed. Soon after, they posted another update on Twitter, informing players that Steam now had the 1.21 update ready, which would rectify the issue of the invisible wall in Mesa. Players who had encountered this problem earlier are advised to ensure they install this update before restarting the game.
It appears some gamers are expressing their annoyance over a bug slipping into the official update, stating it should have been spotted during quality assurance testing. This issue was particularly aggravating because the previous location, the Alpine, was unavailable for the first week after Mesa’s launch. However, Aggro Crab has responded swiftly by addressing the problem, which is noteworthy considering they are an independent game developer.
Now that the major issue has been resolved, players should be able to experience Mesa as intended, without any further glitches. For those still longing for the Alpine, rest assured you’ll soon have the chance to play it again, as Peak will start rotating maps between Mesa and Alpine once that happens.
