Owner of the Sun Tarot card, it’s quite possible to overlook Yoshida’s Confidant, as there’s a sequence of steps you need to perform for him to become aware of you.

In the bustling streets of Shibuya, Yoshida may appear like an ordinary character (NPC), given his role as a public speaker and politician who inspires crowds. However, beneath this surface lies a wealth of opportunities for profit and personal growth, making him more than just a typical character.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the chronology of Sun Arcana’s advancement stages, special abilities boosts, and conversation choices to maximize the pace at which you level up your bond with Toranosuke Yoshida in Persona 5 Royal.

Toranosuke Yoshida Overview

Yoshida’s narrative centers on his efforts to persuade people about the importance of addressing Japan’s matters diligently.

However, his previous reputation as an ineffective politician, stemming from some questionable decisions and false accusations while serving as a Diet member, has made it difficult for him to generate significant interest now.

While discouraged, he doesn’t give up and continues giving speeches with your assistance.

Starting from May 10th, it is permissible for you to embark on Yoshida’s Confdiant. Your supervisor and caretaker, Sojiro Sakura, grants you permission to depart from Yongen-Jaya as late as May 6th evening.

As a night owl, I can wander freely around Shibuya Station Square and catch Yoshida’s captivating speeches under the cover of darkness.

However, prior to reaching out to him independently, it’s essential that you secure a position at the Beef Bowl Shop and work there on two separate nights, so that Yoshida becomes aware of your presence.

In order to work at the Beef Bowl Shop Ore-no-Beko, you must have obtained Rank 2 Proficiency.

Once you become a frequent visitor at the Beef Bowl Shop, recognized by Yoshida, you will have the opportunity to hear one of his nightly talks.

Or simply:
Once you become a regular at the Beef Bowl Shop, acknowledged by Yoshida, you’ll get to hear his nightly speeches.

You will then be able to initiate his Confidant and obtain the Sun Arcana on the next interaction.

One less noticeable feature about Yoshida as a Confidant is that he’s only accessible for conversation on Sunday evenings or during holidays.
