As a seasoned fan who’s spent countless hours navigating the metaphorical labyrinth that is the Phantom Thieves’ world, I can confidently say that Persona 6 needs to step up its party management game. The series has undeniably improved over the years, but there’s always room for refinement, especially when it comes to managing my beloved companions.
In numerous aspects, Persona 6 faces significant challenges. However, it boasts an advantageous position due to its timely release following the series’ recent advancements towards innovation and enhancement of gameplay quality. Notably, Persona 6 should strive to maintain this trend in a crucial aspect.
In comparison to other games in the series, Persona 5 and Persona 3 Reload stand out as exceptional due to their attention to detail in enhancing the overall gameplay experience. From start to finish, the design of the game prioritizes ease and fluidity for players. The developers have left no stone unturned in terms of features, with the series gaining a reputation for its unique stylistic elements. Nevertheless, there’s always scope for improvement, and managing party composition could be streamlined further in Persona 6.
Persona 6 Can Fix a Major Issue with Party Management from P5 and Persona 3 Reload
Persona 6 Needs to Strike a Balance with Combat
In the game called Persona, players must manage numerous elements as they travel. Maintaining a harmonious blend between school activities and dungeon exploration is essential in this game. Socializing with friends frequently boosts a player’s combat skills, while advancing through dungeons enables them to delve deeper into the storyline.
In the spirit of every JRPG I adore, my character in Persona will gain allies to embark on this journey with me. These companions prove instrumental during tough moments in both phases of the game. However, it falls upon us, the players, to meticulously craft and customize each companion’s abilities, which isn’t always an easy task. Regrettably, maximizing a party member’s true potential can sometimes be less than smooth-sailing.
Party Management Has a Few Issues in the Persona Series
In these games (Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Royal), players find themselves in a situation where they can’t master too many abilities simultaneously. When it’s time to learn a new skill, the player might need to make their partner forget an older one. Luckily, these skills can be re-learned later on, but there seems to be a glitch in both games that doesn’t allow for this feature as intended.
In order to refresh skills in both “Persona 5 Royal” and “Persona 3 Reload”, players must travel to specific places: Kanda Church’s confessional and Be Blue V store respectively. However, these locations act as obstacles hindering a crucial gameplay aspect, causing the player to invest valuable time from the in-game calendar to regain their skill.
As a dedicated fan, I must admit that sometimes, navigating through the shared space with one of Persona 5 Royal’s Confidants in the confessional can be tolerated. However, it would be wonderful if Persona 6 decided to break away from this pattern. In truth, there are numerous methods they could employ to simplify this process without losing its essence.
Persona 6 Can Offer One Simple Solution
As a devoted fan, I propose that in a manner reminiscent of Persona 3 Reload, Persona 6 could innovate by integrating memory skills into the services provided by another shop. Rather than compressing roles as a simple solution, Persona 6 could optimize party management in a more effective way. By enabling party members to utilize this feature directly within the Velvet Room itself, the game can streamline its mechanics and create a smoother gaming experience.
In simpler terms, the Velvet Room serves as a multi-purpose hub for battle readiness in the game. Whether you need to blend Personas or create exclusive items, a Velvet Room Attendant stands ready to assist. To enhance player experience in future installments like Persona 6, it could be beneficial to incorporate additional features directly into this location.
In battle readiness, mastering skills is crucial, and the party members in Persona 6 could address some of the weaknesses of its predecessors. To take things a step further, developers might consider making this skill enhancement feature easily accessible via a user-friendly menu option. While this suggestion leans towards being excessive, the Persona series has consistently demonstrated that it prioritizes player experience and convenience.
