Lots of games are getting release dates thanks to The Game Awards, and now Phantom Blade Zero has one too. The good news is, it’s coming out further in the future than most of the other recently announced titles, so we have a while to wait!
The action game Phantom Blade Zero is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5 and PC on September 9, 2026. The cost of the digital edition hasn’t been announced yet.
This pushes its release further away from other games that already have confirmed dates. Several titles, such as Resident Evil Requiem and Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, are scheduled to come out earlier in the year.
Like previous trailers, the newest footage shows exciting, quick combat and several challenging bosses. However, the developers at S-Games emphasize this game isn’t strictly a “Soulslike.” They describe it as a unique blend of classic action games and the challenging elements found in Soulslike titles.
