The Crimson Eye event is returning to Phasmophobia from October 9th to October 31st, 2025, just in time for Halloween! During this event, a Blood Moon appears on several maps, increasing the challenge – and the potential rewards. Players can earn ID cards, trophies, and upgrades for their trophies. But the best part of the Crimson Eye event is that the game becomes even scarier than usual, offering a truly spooky experience!
How To Complete The Crimson Eye Phasmophobia Event
During the *Phasmophobia* Crimson Eye event, players can earn points by repeatedly completing any of the three main objectives on the maps currently affected by the Blood Moon.
- Identify ghosts correctly: Make sure to check all the evidence twice and don’t get baited by the Mimic ghost upon finding Ghost Orbs.
- Complete optional objectives: These are on the board in the van and might ask players to record certain ghost sounds or take specific pictures, for example.
- Interact with Totems you find: At least one red Totem will spawn on each Blood Moon map. Left-click/RT/R2 to interact, and they will disappear in return for points.
During the last Blood Moon event, players made totems disappear by taking their picture. This time around, the goal is to simply touch them.
Earning points helps both the overall community and your individual progress. You can track how things are going on the Event Board inside the warehouse.
Rewards For The Crimson Eye Phasmophobia Event
Many players participate in events to earn rewards. Like the Cursed Hollow event last spring, these rewards are now divided into two types: Community Rewards, which everyone can contribute to, and Personal Rewards, earned individually.
Community Rewards
- Crimson Eye 2025 ID Card
- Upgradable Crimson Eye Trophy
If you earned the Crimson Eye Trophy during the 2024 Blood Moon Event, you don’t need to unlock it again. Instead, you can now improve it using your Personal Rewards.
Personal Rewards
- Foil Event ID Card
- Crimson Eye Trophy Upgrade (Can be repeated 3 times)
This year, rewards will be given to players automatically, so they won’t need to log in and collect them from the warehouse like they did last year.
Blood Moon Maps In Phasmophobia
I’m so excited for the Blood Moon event in *Phasmophobia* in 2025! Apparently, 7 of the maps will definitely have the Blood Moon weather and spooky effects. But here’s the catch: each day, only 4 of those maps will be available, and they’ll switch around. So, when we’re picking a map, we need to keep an eye out for the ones with the little red circle next to them – those are the ones currently affected by the Blood Moon!

Upon exiting the van, the sky should be blood-red, and the house will be heavily decorated.
There’s a small chance for the Blood Moon to appear on other maps, too.
Blood Moon Effects
When the Blood Moon is present, the following will take effect.
- Ghosts move faster during hunts.
- Your sanity drains faster.
- Gain a 10% bonus to all rewards.
