Phasmophobia: Winter’s Jest 2025 Event Guide

Now that Halloween is finished and winter is coming, the annual Winter’s Jest event is back in Phasmophobia for 2025 and the new year. It will begin on Tuesday, December 16th, 2025, at 12:00 GMT (7:00 AM EST) and last until January 6th, 2026, at the same time.

For the next three weeks, players will experience a special Krampus event on select holiday-themed maps, where they’ll need to collect gifts for his naughty or nice list. Plus, Phasmophobia is adding three new ghosts: Obambo, Dayan, and Gallu, so be prepared to investigate!

Between December 16th and December 23rd, players will earn twice as much XP and in-game money for completing investigations.

How To Complete The Winter’s Jest Event In Phasmophobia

During the Phasmophobia Winter’s Jest event, players can earn points by completing certain objectives repeatedly, both as a team and on their own.

Find and open Krampus Jack-in-the-boxes.
Complete Krampus’ naughty and nice list by filling his sack with the correct gifts.

Find Presents For Krampus’ Bag Of Gifts

Okay, so right when you start, you’re immediately presented with this big, burlap sack – think Santa’s list, but a little rougher around the edges. It’s got names on it, and next to each name are these little icons showing you what gifts you need to hunt down. Basically, it’s your shopping list for the game – find the presents shown, bring ’em back, and you’re on your way. It’s a clever way to kick things off, visually telling you what you need to do without a ton of explanation.

These could be things like Christmas trees, reindeer, or stars for those who’ve been good, or coal for those who haven’t.

If multiple gifts of each type are needed, they are usually found together in the same room.

Collect these items using the ‘E’ key, just like you do with everything else. Then, carry them outside and use the ‘G’ key to throw them into the bag. You’ll hear a sound, and the gift will be marked as collected on your list. Continue finding items until you’ve found them all.

What Happens If You Complete Krampus’ List?

If players manage to find all the gifts on Krampus’ list and put them in his bag, a red gift will appear next to it. Opening this gift will give each player one cookie.

The team will earn 12 points for the Winter’s Jest Event, which will benefit both them and the wider community.

Open Krampus Jack-In-The-Boxes To Earn Points Too

As you finish the list and search for the ghost, also look for Krampus Jack-in-the-boxes. Opening them will give you bonus points.

Rewards For The Winter’s Jest Event In Phasmophobia

Like other events this year, Winter’s Jest offers two types of rewards: Community Rewards and Personal Rewards. Players can earn these by interacting with the tree located at the warehouse.

Winter’s Jest Maps In Phasmophobia

With the addition of Nell’s Diner in 2025, Phasmophobia now features 14 different maps. However, during the Winter’s Jest event, only 10 maps are playable, and even then, only a small selection will be available each day, as the maps will change daily.

The maps available for each day’s events will be clearly indicated. This system is similar to how we handled events like Crimson Eye last Halloween.
