Pinstress Location (Fatal Resolve Quest) In Silksong

In Hollow Knight: Silksong, the quest ‘Fatal Resolve’ becomes available during Act 3. The Pinstress challenges you to a final duel – the winner will deliver the finishing strike. To begin, you’ll need to locate her in Blasted Steps, then follow the clues she leaves to Mount Fay to finish the quest.

How To Trigger Fatal Resolve Quest In Silksong

You can start the “Fatal Resolve” quest in *Silksong* by progressing to Act 3 and finding Bellhart. Once there, simply interact with the Wishing Board to begin the quest. Accepting the wish sets Hornet on a path to locate the Pinstress twice and ultimately battle her. Successfully finishing the quest will grant you a new tool.

Pinstress Blasted Steps Location In Silksong

In *Silksong*, you can find the Pinstress’s house furthest to the west, close to the entrance to the Sands of Karak within Blasted Steps.

Begin at the Blasted Steps Bellway and turn right. Continue down the path, passing the hanging cages, until you see a blue flag with pins on your left.

Use the platforms to keep going in the same direction until you reach an area with a heavy storm.

Okay, so I figured out you can use those balloons to get up high and into the Pinstress’s house. Inside, I found a bench with a note on it. Apparently, she’s moved! Now she’s waiting for me up on Mount Fay. Time to head there!

Fatal Resolve Quest In Silksong (Pinstress Location)

You can find The Pinstress on a cliff near the upper part of the first tall area of Mount Fay in Silksong. Hornet can help you locate her by interacting with the bodies pinned to the walls, which will reveal her route.

Okay, so to get started, you really need to nail that double jump to reach the wall on the left and get up onto the first platform. Then, you’ve gotta bounce to the right and use those appearing platforms – they don’t stick around for long! – to climb higher and higher. It’s a bit tricky, but once you get the timing down, it’s awesome!

Use the harpoon to pull yourself towards the ring. Then, hug the left wall and climb up to the higher platform with the silk flowers. From there, jump to the left wall to gain momentum and reach the ring on the right.

Jump onto the rising platform and turn to face the left wall. Hornet can use the wall to climb up to the platform with the warm glow. Once there, look to your left and carefully climb up the wall.

The next challenge involves staying close to the wall and dodging spikes to get to the opposite side. After that, Hornet can float down towards a bright light and land safely on the other side.

Carefully climb the tall structure, watching out for spikes. Use the grappling hook to pull yourself upwards and reach higher ground. Repeat this process on the next structure, then land on a metal platform with a small pin sticking out of it.

Use the enemy above you to get to the left wall, then climb up. Continue forward and jump onto the higher platform.

Launch a harpoon at the enemy on your right to swing to the first ring. Then, use a double jump to reach the higher ring, and use the enemies there to pull yourself up to the uppermost ring. Follow the upward path, and examine the body to continue following the Pinstress’s trail in *HK Silksong*.

Turn left and feel free to rest on the bench if you need to. Then, jump into the ring and use the left wall to get to the enemy close by. Use the wall one more time to return to the ring and head left.

Carefully climb towards the bright light and use your harpoon to grab onto the spikes on the right, which will pull you onto the platform above. If that’s difficult, you can skip harpooning and instead glide down, using enemies and appearing platforms to gain height and reach the top.
