PlayStation 5 Overtakes Nintendo Switch 2 in Hardware Sales for November 2025

Video game hardware sales in the US totaled 1.6 million units in November, the lowest number for that month since 1995. The PlayStation 5 was the best-selling console, both in terms of units sold and revenue, marking its first time at the top since the release of the Nintendo Switch 2. The Nintendo Switch 2 came in second place for both unit sales and revenue.

In November 2025, NEX Playground and Xbox Series consoles tied for third place in sales. NEX Playground sold the third-highest number of units, while Xbox Series generated the third-highest revenue. NEX Playground’s success isn’t surprising, as it surpassed the PS5 Slim Digital in US sales around the middle of the month.

Battlefield 6 is currently the top-selling game in the US for the year 2025. Last November, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 took the top spot. We’re also seeing the PlayStation 5 become the best-selling gaming console for November 2025. What do you think about all of this?
