As a dedicated gamer, I’m thrilled to share that leading up to Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2025 in September, PlayStation is gearing up to make a splash! In fact, they’ve just announced their lineup for the expo, which, let me tell you, is already creating quite a buzz this year with powerhouses like Capcom and Koei Tecmo bringing some massive games to the table. Now, PlayStation is joining the fun with two of their most highly anticipated upcoming titles! I can hardly wait!
For the second consecutive year, this company is participating in TGS, having skipped from 2020 to 2023. Last year, the star attractions were Monster Hunter Wilds and Astro Bot, which was named Game of the Year. Additionally, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach had a showcase with a new trailer release. At this point, no upcoming shows have been announced, but the presence of these two games is likely to delight fans.
Ghost of Yotei and Marvel TOKON: Fighting Souls Headline PlayStation’s TGS Main Booth
At present, just two fresh games – Ghost of Yotei by Sucker Punch and Marvel TOKON: Fighting Souls by ARC System Works – are set to be playable at the show. Additional games will be unveiled as we get closer to the expo’s launch on September 25th, 2025.
For the first time in public, Ghost of Yotei will be demonstrated on October 2nd, one week after TGS. Meanwhile, at EVO, many fans have already tried Marvel TOKON: Fighting Souls, with even more expected when the closed beta begins on September 6th. Regardless, these two games are highly anticipated from the studio and are certain to create a big impact for attendees.
