As a dedicated fan who’s been through the chilling nights of the Withered Forest and the creepy Hidesaway Motel more times than I care to count, it’s disheartening to see my beloved Until Dawn being unavailable on PlayStation. The original, with its gripping narrative, immersive gameplay, and those terrifying jump scares, was a masterpiece that set a new standard for interactive horror.
The 2015 release of Until Dawn isn’t accessible for certain PlayStation users, sparking discussions about the game’s future availability. Given the recent launch of the remake, some enthusiasts suspect that Sony may be trying to disassociate from the original Until Dawn. This has left fans disappointed since many think the original, even though it’s nearly a decade old, outshines the new edition and merits being kept on PlayStation 5.
