PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for October 2024 Revealed During State of Play

As a seasoned gaming enthusiast with memories of countless late-night battles and heartwrenching storylines etched into my mind, I can confidently say that October is shaping up to be an extraordinary month for PlayStation Plus members! The trio of WWE 2K24, Dead Space, and Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! promises a diverse gaming experience that caters to various tastes.

Today, PlayStation revealed several exciting news items such as the debut of Ghosts of Yotei, the launch of Palworld on PS5, and additional updates during their State of Play broadcast. Simultaneously, they announced that PlayStation Plus subscribers will receive new free games starting in October.

As per the blog update, players are able to test out WWE 2K24, Dead Space, and Doki Doki Literature Club starting from October, all through PlayStation Plus. From October 1st onwards, these games will be available for Essential, Extra, and Premium/Deluxe members to enjoy.

WWE 2K24

2024’s WWE 2K edition marks the latest release in the top-tier wrestling simulation franchise, commemorating four decades of WrestleMania extravaganza. The game offers the chance to embody legendary wrestlers from past and present eras across multiple gaming options. Relive some of the most iconic moments in WrestleMania history, and step into the shoes of these legends as they contend in the series’ most memorable and career-altering bouts.

Dead Space

For October, the next game available on PlayStation Plus will be a remake of EA’s Dead Space, offering a thrilling blend of sci-fi and horror gameplay. This updated version aims to enhance immersion as you assume the role of Isaac Clarke, tasked with fixing the colossal ship, USG Ishimura. However, it quickly becomes apparent that all is not well aboard the vessel, and you must now work to unravel the mystery while battling hostile creatures known as Necromorphs.

Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!

In October, the latest addition for PlayStation Plus is the psychological horror game Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!, where you take on the role of a new member in the Literature Club seeking a romantic interest. But as you delve deeper into your literary pursuits, you find yourself both captivating the affection of your crush and exposing the chilling truths hidden within the world of school romance.

On September 30th, you have until the end of the month to include Quidditch Champions, MLB The Show 24, and Little Nightmares II in your PlayStation Plus library for September’s selection.
