PlayStation Plus Subscribers Can Claim Free Battlefield 6 Skin Now

Battlefield 6 recently launched RedSec, its free-to-play battle royale mode, and PlayStation Plus members are receiving a free in-game cosmetic pack to celebrate. PlayStation Plus subscribers have already enjoyed exclusive Battlefield 6 perks like bonus Battlefield Pro tiers and extended double XP events, but this new pack offers even more value.

Just two weeks after the release of the main game, Battlefield 6: RedSec is now available as the sequel to the Battlefield V battle royale, Firestorm. It launched today with Battlefield 6 Season 1, which includes new maps, game types, weapons, and a battle pass for the popular multiplayer shooter.

PlayStation Plus Subscribers Can Claim Battlefield 6’s Rogue Ops Pack For Free

Starting October 28th, PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium members can get the ‘Rogue Ops’ pack for Battlefield 6 for free. This pack’s items can be used in both the game’s standard multiplayer and the new RedSec game mode.

Battlefield 6‘s Rogue Ops pack contains 11 exclusive cosmetics, which include the following:

  • “Going Dark” soldier skin for the PAX Assault class
  • “Night Raid” vehicle skin for the UH-79
  • “Arctic Reign” weapon package for the L110
  • “Early Grave” weapon package for the P18
  • “Lamina” parachute
  • “No Limits” patch
  • “Target Spotted” player card background
  • “Lead Rain” dog tag
  • “Jacked In” weapon charm
  • “Seasoned” weapon sticker
  • “Aggressive Tactics” vehicle decal

The Battlefield 6 Rogue Ops pack can be purchased on Xbox and PC for $19.99.

The new “Going Dark” skin for Battlefield 6, part of the Rogue Ops pack, might cause some debate. A similar dark skin in Call of Duty: Warzone – called “Roze Rook” – was heavily criticized because it was hard to see. However, the Battlefield 6 skin has white highlights on the armor, which should make it much easier to spot than the almost completely black Roze skin, which often blended into the shadows.

Okay, so getting the Rogue Ops pack is super easy. All I had to do was pop into the PlayStation Store (you can find the link in the source at the bottom of the page), double-check my PS Plus subscription was still active – any level of PS Plus works! – and then download the pack. Done and dusted!
