Games like Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Ghost of Yotei, and Stellar Blade are just a few examples of the many titles that have sold millions of copies on the PlayStation 5. To mark the PlayStation 5’s fifth anniversary, representatives spoke with the BBC. They revealed that over 84 million PS5 and PS5 Pro consoles have been sold globally, putting this generation’s sales numbers close to those of the PlayStation 4.

According to Lempel, Sony and PlayStation are finally gaining momentum, with many exciting games on the horizon. He also shared that PlayStation’s biggest hit for the PS5 hasn’t been announced yet, which was a surprising revelation.

“I’m not going to tell you which one, but I think it’s still to come,” he said.“

This announcement could refer to almost anything. We know the Wolverine game is progressing well and has the potential to be a major success for the platform. There might be other exclusive games in development, or this could be a subtle way of hinting that the mysterious title is actually Grand Theft Auto 6. It’s still uncertain whether this refers to games made by the platform’s own studios or by other companies.
