PlayStation State of Play Announced For September 24

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I eagerly anticipate Sony’s PlayStation State of Play on September 24th. The rumors surrounding this event have been swirling like a digital vortex, and I can’t help but feel the exhilaration that only comes from the prospect of new gaming revelations.

Sony has officially confirmed that their upcoming PlayStation State of Play broadcast is set for Tuesday, the 24th of September. This exciting event will commence at 6 PM Eastern Time or 11 PM Greenwich Mean Time.

The news about the event has been confirmed following several weeks of speculation about its timing. As anticipated, it indeed occurred later in the month.

Sony says it will showcase updates from “over 20 titles” during the 30+ minute show.

From a gamer’s perspective, I can’t wait to see what Sony has up their sleeve during the PlayStation State of Play! It’s been buzzing around that they might unveil a spruced-up version of Horizon Zero Dawn for the PlayStation 5 (PS5). And here’s the kicker, there are whispers about a Days Gone remaster for the PS5 as well! Keep your fingers crossed!

Apart from those two titles, I’ve got my fingers crossed for more reveals, but there aren’t many details to share just yet. It’s important to mention that the State of Play usually coincides with the Tokyo Game Show, where both Sony and Xbox showcase their offerings. This year, Xbox is hosting its own conference at the event on Thursday, September 26th.

Regarding the Tokyo Game Show, there’s speculation that Palworld might also debut on PlayStation 5. However, due to a recent legal dispute with developer Pocketpair, it’s uncertain whether this will indeed take place.
