PlayStation’s Next State of Play is in The Coming Weeks, Insider Suggests

An insider has said that PlayStation next State of Play is on its way in the coming weeks.

Based on what gaming expert NateTheHate has shared, he has a history of disclosing gaming announcements and reveals before they become officially announced.

As per Nate’s hint, the upcoming Sony State of Play event is expected to take place in February. Intriguingly, he has suggested that it might coincide with Valentine’s Day, when asked about the specific date. When queried about the timing of the next State of Play and whether it would be at the start or end of the month, Nate playfully responded, “What does your intuition suggest?

In September 2024, Sony’s latest State of Play event showcased a variety of games, including Astro Bot, remastered versions of Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2, and an updated version of Horizon Zero Dawn.

At the moment I’m writing this, it remains uncertain what exactly will be showcased in the next State of Play for PlayStation, but it’s plausible that we might see trailers or updates for two upcoming games: Kojima Productions’ Death Stranding 2: On The Beach and Ghost of Yōtei. Both titles are set to drop later in the year.

Additional announcements might feature Horizon’s multiplayer mode, Fairplay$ game, or the anticipated release of Bungie’s Marathon, speculated for later in the year.
