Now, a year later, more evidence of dynamic pricing for PlayStation games has appeared.
On November 5th, a Reddit user named DarXIV announced they were planning to purchase Red Dead Redemption 2: Ultimate Edition. However, they soon noticed something wasn’t right.
A gamer was thrilled to buy Red Dead Redemption 2, but then discovered it was cheaper when purchased through their wife’s account. They shared screenshots showing the price difference, even though both accounts were in the same region, using the same PlayStation, and set to the same currency.
