- Eevee has not received an official new evolution in over a decade, leading fans to create diverse designs of their own.
- Fans hope for an official Ghost-type Eeveelution to be added to the games someday.
A passionate fan of Pokémon has recently created a fresh Ghost-type evolution for Eevee, and it’s quite an intriguing twist. By incorporating Egyptian themes into the design, this innovative Eeveelution demonstrates the exceptional creativity within the Pokémon community when crafting new versions of beloved franchise characters.
First appearing in the initial Pokemon games, Eevee is undeniably one of the most beloved creatures within the franchise. Its appealing Normal-type appearance and unique evolutionary history set it apart from other Pokemon. Sadly, no fresh Eeveelution has emerged in recent times, with Sylveon, its Fairy-type evolution introduced in Gen 6 (2013), being the last one – a full decade without any new evolutions for this popular creature.
Currently, a dedicated Pokemon enthusiast identified as Patient-Ambition9826 has unveiled their most recent invention to the community – an Egypt-themed Ghost-type Eeveelution named Anubeon. This homemade Pokemon is designed with a compact cat-like physique, boasting an Anubis head, luminous yellow eyes, deep blue skin, and a tail reminiscent of an ankh. In addition to the original design, there’s also a shiny version showcased in fan art, featuring a dark blue head and grey body. The creator hinted at plans for another Egypt-inspired Eeveelution, this time with a Ground-type classification, set to be released soon.
Pokemon Fan’s Amazing Ghost-Type Eeveelution
Eevee transformations are widely beloved in fan creations, and recently, Ghost-type evolutions have stood out significantly. For example, just last week, another fan unveiled an artwork featuring a genie-themed Ghost-type Eeveelution. In this piece, the artist imagined Mischeveon as a purple feline donning clothing reminiscent of a genie.
Most of the Eevee evolutions that are Ghost-type are based on real ghosts. In the past, a fan designed a Ghost-type Eeveelution called Halluceon. This fan artwork showed the creature as a pale, slim, feline being with a skull helmet, elongated ears, and a large purple orb instead of a neck.
A while back, an artist who loves Pokémon came up with a unique creature named Ghouleon. This charming Ghost-type evolution for Eevee was modeled after a cat and had fur in shades of white, grey, and blue. With a tail made of smoke, deep blue eyes, long whiskers, it quickly became a favorite among fans. It would be exciting if Nintendo eventually introduces an official Ghost-type Eeveelution, as fans can’t wait to compare these fan creations with the ones designed by the game developers themselves.
