Pokemon Fan Creates Incredible Nickelodeon-Themed Eeveelution Concept

Summary

  • A Pokemon fan‘s Poison-type Eeveelution design impresses with its creative Nickelodeon theme and high quality art.
  • Despite there being no official Poison-type evolution for Eevee, fans have created unique takes on the concept.
  • Eevee fans continue to reimagine the popular Pokemon, like one fan artist who turned them into adorable teddy bears.

A devoted fan of Pokémon has recently created an unofficial variation of Eevee, a Poison-type Eeveelution, which draws inspiration from a well-known Nickelodeon toy. Although eight distinct official Eeveelutions have been introduced so far, the Pokémon community is constantly looking for new ways to reinvent Eevee, and this latest design catches the eye due to its exceptional quality and creativity.

First appearing in Generation 1, Eevee is one of the most beloved Pokemon ever designed. This endearing Normal-type creature boasts a variety of evolutions, such as Flareon (Fire), Jolteon (Electric), Vaporeon (Water), Umbreon (Dark), Espeon (Psychic), Leafeon (Grass), Glaceon (Ice), and Sylveon (Fairy). Regrettably, Eevee has yet to receive an official evolution associated with the Poison type, which has left fans who admire Arbok, Muk, and Zubat feeling a little disappointed.

Currently, a Pokemon enthusiast known as Omega_Maru has introduced an innovative Eevee variant they’ve dubbed Nickelodeon. This Poison-type evolution retains a resemblance to the original Eevee but sports an orange and green color scheme, giving it a gooey texture. The Pokemon also boasts a shimmering version that employs more conventional Poison-type hues such as purple and green. Omega_Maru’s design was conceived humorously, as they found that the term “Nickelodeon” ends with “eon,” similar to other Eeveelution names. To pay homage to Nickelodeon, the creators drew inspiration from their iconic Gak toy, a molding compound launched in 1992. The artwork was warmly received by the community and garnered over 1,100 upvotes.

Pokemon Fan’s Amazing Nickelodeon-Inspired Eeveelution

As a gamer, I’ve seen fellow enthusiasts come up with some truly imaginative Poison-type Eeveelutions over the years. For example, there’s this awesome concept called Myceleon, where they transformed Eevee into a fox-like character sporting a mushroom cap on its head. It’s fascinating stuff!

Last year, a remarkable Poison-type Eeveelution concept, named Serpeon, was brought to light by a Pokemon enthusiast. This design seems to have drawn some inspiration from Ninetales, as it envisions Eevee with hair and a multi-tailed snake-like appearance.

Some fans focus on inventing fresh Eevee transformations, while others prefer reimagining existing ones by offering innovative concepts. For instance, a fan recently remodeled all Eevee evolutions into charming teddy bears. The artist’s work, showcasing Eevee and its official evolutions as cuddly bear-like creatures with round ears, tiny feet, and endearing snouts, was exceptionally cute. Here’s hoping that fans will keep dreaming up even more imaginative Eevee transformations since these designs usually receive positive feedback from the community.
