- A Pokemon fan artist created a Vulpix pre-evolution called Mikon, which was praised by the community.
- Artist qobrosii also designed Fire/Poison-type Mega Charizard Z and Electric-type Vulpix variants, showcasing creativity with their fan art.
As a dedicated Pokemon fan who has been enamored with these adorable creatures since I was a child, I have to say that qobrosii’s artwork never fails to impress me. The latest addition to their portfolio, Mikon, is a delightful pre-evolution for Vulpix that showcases the artist’s creativity and understanding of the Pokemon universe.
A dedicated Pokemon enthusiast artist has recently created a concept for Vulpix’s pre-evolution, transforming the lovable Fire-type creature into an even more endearing baby version. Baby Pokemon were initially presented in the second installment of the Pokemon games, including Pichu, Cleffa, Togepi, and others. These baby forms have garnered popularity among fans, particularly those who enjoy designing unique pre-evolutions for well-known creatures.
Vulpix is a Pokemon from the first generation of games that belongs to the Fire type. It was possible to capture this creature only in ‘Pokemon Blue’, specifically in Routes 7, 8, and the Pokemon Mansion. Unlike other Pokemon, Vulpix doesn’t have a pre-evolution form; instead, it transforms into Ninetales when you give it a Fire Stone. In the seventh generation, an Alolan version of Vulpix appeared – this Ice-type Pokemon has white fur and evolves into Ninetales with an Ice Stone.
Currently, a dedicated Pokemon fan artist named qobrosii has unveiled their newest work to the community: Mikon, an early form of Vulpix. In its infant phase, this creature resembles a charming little fox with lighter shades than Vulpix and less fur. Notably, Mikon possesses three tails, which aligns with the fact that Vulpix has six tails and Ninetales, as its title suggests, boasts nine tails. The artistic talent of qobrosii was appreciated by fellow Pokemon enthusiasts, garnering over 450 upvotes.
Vulpix Pre-Evolution Pokemon Fan Art
On several occasions, qobrosii has graced our community with extraordinary artworks, and this isn’t the first instance. Just last month, they conceptualized a potential Fire/Poison type Mega Evolution for Charizard Z, drawing inspiration from Gen 4 Pokemon Zygarde. This artwork was conceived as qobrosii eagerly awaited the release of Pokemon Legends: Z-A.
Previously this year, other enthusiasts have come up with creative variations of critters like Vulpix too. In March specifically, a fan envisioned Vulpix as a gray fox, complete with endearing lemon-yellow eyes modeled after the actual Canadian Marble Fox.
A fresh spin on the widely loved creature, Vulpix, was introduced as an Electric-type version. This revamped Vulpix sported a sleek short dark grey fur with scattered yellow spots and a lightning bolt-like insignia on its forehead. The adorable beast also had a unique tail shaped like a dark cloud. Fans can keep dreaming up new forms for Vulpix as Nintendo has yet to reveal alternative versions or new evolutions for the renowned Fire-type fox.
