As per Officer Granite, they chose to exhibit this animatronic Pokémon at Iron City Comic Con, where it contributed to the creator winning the Fan Favorite Cosplay award. Notably, this was the first public appearance for the Pidgeotto. Yet, it’s understandable why they succeeded, given that the animatronic showcased an impressive level of detail. In the Reddit photos, the Pokémon seems quite large and is able to rest on the handler’s arm. The animatronic appears to be covered in a layer of feathers, making the Gen 1 creature appear more lifelike.

Despite the success of Pidgeotto, Officer Granite has no plans to stop there. They mentioned their desire to create more Pokemon animatronics, as they enjoy the process of building them.

It’s important to mention that Officer Granite hasn’t just built the Pidgeotto animatronic; this is actually their 11th Pokemon animatronic creation. They shared in a Reddit post that they made an animatronic Pidgey two years ago, and you can find many other builds on their Reddit page, such as Pikachu, Zubat, Butterfree, and more. In addition to attending events, these animatronics are also used for a TikTok nature show produced by Officer Granite.

Some fans had hoped Officer Granite would complete the evolution line with a Pidgeot, but it was revealed that it might be too large to transport.
