As a long-time Pokemon fan and avid gamer, I was absolutely blown away by Numerous-Ad6314’s Cubone hairpiece creation. The level of detail and dedication that went into this project is truly impressive. I’ve always found the backstory of Cubone to be a bit sad, so seeing someone put their creative spin on it using a 3D printer was both unique and inspiring.

A dedicated Pokemon fan artist created a Cubone headband using a 3D printer and posted it on social media. To showcase its authenticity, the artist used real human hair, belonging to their spouse, to accessorize it. Impressed fans flooded the comments section with requests for their own Cubone headbands.

Cubone, referred to as the Solitary Pokemon, made its debut in Pokemon Red and Blue. This initial Pokemon type is Ground. At level 28, Cubone transforms into Marowak. Equipped with a skull mask concealing its face and armed with a bone club for combat, Cubone presents a melancholic image. Throughout the main series, Cubone’s Pokedex descriptions paint a heartrending picture of this Pokemon. It is believed that Cubone keeps its mother’s skull as a memento and sheds tears under the moonlight. In Pokemon Red and Blue, players are given the mission to ascend the Pokemon Tower in Lavender Town and put the spirit of Cubone’s deceased mother, a Marowak of level 30, to rest.

A devoted Pokemon fan showcased their creative tribute to Cubone, a debated Pokemon character, through an intricately crafted accessory. On Reddit’s r/pokemon community, user Numerous-Ad6314 unveiled four images of a Cubone hairpiece they produced using 3D printing and resin. The skull and bone club were meticulously made with this technique, involving some initial sculpting before the printing process began. To enhance usability, the artist extended Cubone’s club for better maneuverability. In the presented images, Cubone’s skull helmet sat atop the model’s hair, while the bone club served as a secure pin that could pass through the skull’s eye sockets without harming it. The long flowing locks of the model held the resin skull and bone club firmly in place. Numerous-Ad6314 revealed their spouse as the model featured in the accompanying images.

Despite numerous Cubone tributes by other fans, Numerous-Ad6314 found a unique way to showcase Cubone’s distinctive features. In the r/pokemon post comments, fans admired the artist’s creativity and inquired about purchasing the Cubone hairpiece. Unfortunately, shipping from India would be challenging for Numerous-Ad6314, but they expressed their intention to create more Cubone hairpieces due to the encouraging feedback.

In the new Pokemon games, Scarlet and Violet, Cubone and Marowak aren’t present. However, their absence doesn’t diminish the affection fans have for these Pokemons. As we await the release of Pokemon Legends: Z-A, there’s hope that Cubone and Marowak will reappear in future Pokemon adventures.
