Summary

- Some fans embraced Shiny Dragonite’s green hue, likening it to an actual reptilian dragon.
- Players can find Shiny Dratini in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet to evolve into Dragonite.
As a devoted Pokemon fan, I couldn’t help but notice a design oversight regarding the Shiny Dragonite in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Shiny Pokemon are always exciting discoveries in the Pokemon universe due to their unique color schemes. However, the Shiny forms found in this game, including the Shiny Dratini that eventually evolves into Dragonite, don’t seem to deviate significantly from their regular counterparts. I believe there was a chance to make the Shiny Dragonite stand out more, enhancing the thrill of finding one during our adventures.
Known for being a fictional creature resembling a dragon, Dragonite is often referred to as a pseudo-legendary Pokemon. Distinguished by its fast speed and strong attacks, Dragonite stands out among its initial evolutionary forms, Dragonair and Dratini, which are blue, snake-like beings. Unlike these two, Dragonite is depicted as a bipedal dragon, and due to its vibrant color and round physique, it has become popular with fans, many of whom purchase cute Squishmallow plushies featuring the Pokemon dragon.
Shiny Dragonite Causes Debate Among Pokemon Fans
On the contrary, some Pokemon enthusiasts found no issue with Shiny Dragonite‘s green hue, likening it to a real-life reptilian dragon. They compared it to the character in “Pete’s Dragon,” while others affectionately named their own version “Pickles.” Furthermore, Shiny Dragonite is widely regarded as one of Pokemon GO’s most visually striking shinies due to its vibrant colors that distinguish it from other dragon Pokemon.
Regardless of the ongoing debate about the appearance of Shiny Dragonite, numerous players are eager to capture their own Shiny Dratini in games such as Pokemon GO and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. In the latter game, you can discover Shiny Dratinis near watchtowers in the northern and northeastern regions of Paldea. Ultimately, whether a player chooses to evolve a Shiny Dratini into a Shiny Dragonite is their decision, but having at least one Dragonite in their team could prove beneficial should the need arise.
The Next Pokemon Game Will Have Mega-Evolved Monsters
In the approaching game titled “Pokemon Legends: Z-A”, Mega Evolutions are expected to feature. These were initially presented in “Pokemon X and Y”. As of now, it remains a mystery which Pokemon will undergo Mega transformation, however, a supposed list for “Pokemon: Legends: Z-A” suggests several possibilities like Clefable, Meganium, and Greninja, to name a few.
