Pokemon Gen 10 Leak Reveals Entire Region and Its Gyms

The next generation of Pokémon, often called Pokémon Wind and Wave or Gen 10, has been the subject of many leaks over the last year. Because of this, most fans already have a good idea of what to expect when Nintendo officially reveals it on Pokémon Day, February 27th – it’s been a very well-kept secret!

Rumors have circulated for some time that the next Pokémon generation, Generation 10, would be titled Pokémon Wind or Wave and set in Southeast Asia. This suggests a region with many islands, a theme reinforced by early descriptions of the legendary Pokémon as representing ‘wind grandpa and wave grandma.’ Recent leaks have now provided fans with a clearer picture of the region’s map, detailing the different environments and important locations on each island.

Due to the nature of this leak, some of the possible information may be considered spoilers.

A recent leak shared by Centro Leaks, a source known for aggregating information, suggests what the Gym types might be in the next Pokemon generation (Gen 10). However, it’s important to remember that leaks can change, and Centro Leaks has confirmed they’ve updated their information with more landmarks. Still, the leak offers a fascinating glimpse into what could be coming. According to the information, we can likely expect Gyms focused on Grass, Poison, Flying, Fighting, Dark, Normal, Steel, and Fairy types. Previous leaks indicated that each Gym would also feature a powerful Titan Pokemon, totaling 18 challenges. If that’s true, the Titan Pokemon will likely be Fire, Water, Electric, Ice, Ground, Psychic, Bug, Rock, Ghost, and Dragon-type Pokemon.

A quick look shows there are likely many interesting details to discover. It appears the powerful Titan Pokémon are connected to the “Majin Research Labs,” and the game features a diverse range of islands. Some islands focus on a single idea, like the Fairy and Normal Gyms, while others are much larger and more complex. The numbered oceans, deep seas, and the mysterious Neon Abyss probably use a system that creates areas randomly, as rumored for Pokémon Wind and Wave. This means these areas could be different each time you explore them, with changing environments and Pokémon.

We still have a lot to learn about the new Pokémon game, as fans haven’t seen much beyond a brief introduction and there haven’t been many story details leaked. Expect a full reveal on Pokémon Day, but early leaks related to Pokémon Wind and Wave suggest this will be a really engaging marketing campaign and a promising new generation of Pokémon.
