Pokemon GO Bug Makes it Impossible to Catch New Pokemon

Pokemon GO Bug Makes it Impossible to Catch New Pokemon

Key Takeaways

  • Dynamax Falinks catch screen is glitched, preventing players from catching it after raids.
  • Max Raids are bug-ridden, with white screens preventing catches despite using Max Particles.
  • Players advised to avoid Dynamax Raids for now due to bugs, focus on leveling up Max Moves.

As a seasoned Pokemon GO gamer with over five years of battling, catching, and exploring under my belt, I can’t help but feel a pang of disappointment upon encountering yet another bug that hampers my gameplay experience. The Dynamax Falinks catch screen glitch is just the latest in a long line of issues that have plagued Max Raids since their introduction.

A fresh issue with the game “Pokemon GO” is preventing players from capturing Dynamax Falinks during raids. After the raid, the screen becomes white, and there’s no available option for catching it whatsoever. This problem has arisen since Dynamax Falinks first appeared in three-star Max Battles on October 1st within “Pokemon GO”, but players will likely have to be patient until the developers fix this bug to catch the Pokemon.

As an avid Pokémon GO enthusiast, I’ve got to say that the introduction of the Dynamax feature has been quite a rollercoaster. Initially, the excitement was palpable when we learned about this new mechanic. However, it seems like a few stumbling blocks have come along with it. For one thing, many players, including myself, have experienced frustrating crashes during Beldum Max Raids, and to make matters worse, the cost of these battles has been a source of irritation for us all. And now, it appears that the latest set of Max Raids in Pokémon GO are also plagued with bugs.

In a new post on the Silph Road subreddit, user Kiwi1234567 highlights a frustrating bug that players have been facing in Max Battles in Pokemon GO. Apparently, when players try to catch a Dynamax Falinks after defeating it in a raid, the screen turns completely white. It should be noted that players do get the rewards for the battle, and the raid is counted as completed; however, the catch screen does not seem to be working in the game at this time.

Pokemon GO Players Should Avoid Max Raids for the Time Being

The problem is compounded by the fact that Max Particles are still used in battles, even though players can’t catch the Pokemon. Fans have updated the game and its resources as instructed by Niantic, but it doesn’t seem to resolve the issue. Moreover, almost all Power Spots have transformed into Falinks Max Raids, with no signs of the Galar starters – Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble. Since Falinks Max Raids are currently bugged, it appears that players should hold off on Dynamax Raids for now. Players are discontented with the game’s current condition, but they anticipate a solution will be implemented soon.

Regarding the Falinks Raid specifically, players should give their best during the fight since it’s said to be more challenging than the Beldum Max Raid in Pokemon GO. So far, using Dynamax Charizard in Pokemon GO for the Falinks Raid seems to yield better results compared to Dynamax Metagross. In the meantime, while waiting for the Max Raids to be fixed, players can concentrate on boosting their Max Moves, as they are essential for success in battle.
