The introduction of Dynamax Pokemon and Special Research tasks has brought a fresh wave of excitement to this beloved game.

In simpler terms, “Pokemon GO” has revealed Dynamax Pokemon and fresh Special Research as part of the game’s Max Out season. This update includes new Field Research Tasks, special displays at PokeStops, and a brand-new avatar accessory for players to enjoy.

For nearly 8 years, the mobile game Pokemon GO has remained popular, and it needs regular updates to keep its players hooked. This is a challenge for Niantic’s developers, as they can’t introduce everything from the latest mainline Pokemon games at once without running out of content and becoming stale. Consequently, features such as Dynamax Pokemon have not been part of the game until now, but that’s about to change soon.

Beginning September 10 at 10 am and lasting until September 15 at 8 pm local time, Pokemon GO will introduce 1-star Max Battles. During this period, Pokemon such as Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Skwovet, and Wooloo will have their first appearance in Dynamax battles within the game. It’s important to note that any Pokemon caught from these Max Battle encounters can be used in Dynamax battles, including their evolved forms. Additionally, there’s a chance for these encounters to result in Shiny Pokemon.

Pokemon GO Max Out Special Research and More

The new Special Research will be added to the game earlier, and can be claimed anytime between September 3 at 10 am to December 3 at 9:59 am local time. These tasks will be focused on Max Battles, giving players an opportunity to earn Max Particles and a Dynamax Band avatar item. The event will also offer players bonuses for select activities, including 2x XP for winning a Max Battle and 2x XP for spining PokeStops.

In addition to regular gameplay, Event Field Exploration offers an opportunity for players to meet Pokemon that have Dynamax forms during Max Battles. These encounters may result in finding a Shiny Pokemon. At PokeStops, you can participate in themed events featuring special Pokemon. Lastly, beginning September 8 at 6 pm PDT, the shop will offer a Max Particle Pack Bundle containing 4,800 Max Particles for $7.99.
