As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of Pokemon adventures under my belt, I must say, the Fidough Fetch event in Pokemon Go has me absolutely barking with excitement! The introduction of Gen 9’s delightful canine confection, Fidough, is a treat for all us trainers who have been eagerly waiting to add this adorable baked beauty to our Pokedex.

In the Fidough Fetch event, which marks the introduction of a popular Generation 9 creature from Pokemon Go, gamers worldwide are tasked with accomplishing global challenges to eventually acquire the tasty canine companion.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’ve come across this fascinating Fairy-type Pokemon named Fidough in the latest installment of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. This adorable creature resembles a fluffy canine made entirely out of baked goods, complete with Princess Leia-esque ears that add an extra touch of charm. At level 26, it’s time for Fidough to transform into Dachsbun, where it sports a more refined, well-baked, and glazed appearance, making it even more irresistible in the gaming world!

Starting this coming Friday, January 3rd at 3:00 PM, Fidough and Dachsbun will be featured in Pokemon Go during the Fidough Fetch event which will take place from the aforementioned date to Tuesday, January 7th, 2025, ending at 10:00 PM (Pacific Standard Time).

As a global gamer taking part in the Fidough Fetch event, I’m tasked with executing some smooth Curveball Throws. This is all part of a worldwide challenge aimed at showcasing these adorable dogs. The more successful my throws, the more impressive the rewards I stand to gain!

It’s unlikely that fans should worry much about the player count failing to reach the Fidough Level 2 reward threshold in Pokemon Go. With countless players signing in and capturing ‘Mons daily, it seems quite probable that the challenge will be accomplished unintentionally.

If, for some reason, the players decided to go on strike and failed to complete the challenge, would Niantic keep Fidough and Daschbun as captives? (This sentence implies that Fidough and Daschbun are being held against their will.)

It’s long overdue for Fidough and Daschbun, with their impressive designs from the Gen 9 games, to join Pokemon Go. It would be great if everyone puts in some effort to find the dog-shaped cakes and complete their collections.
