Pokemon GO is constantly being updated with new content, making it a lot to follow! The game, which launched in 2016, regularly adds new Pokemon, challenging Raid battles, competitive GO Battle League seasons, and special Spotlight Hour events, and shows no signs of stopping anytime soon.
Hey fellow trainers! I’m putting together a quick guide to everything cool happening in Pokemon GO from November 24th to the 30th. I want to make sure none of us miss out on any special events or bonuses, so let’s dive right in and see what’s going on this week!
All Pokemon GO Events This Week (11/24 – 11/30)
Dynamax Eevee Max Battle Weekend (Ends on the 24th)
The Dynamax Eevee Max Battle Weekend is ending today, November 24th. This event was the first time players could battle two-star Max Battles with Dynamax Eevee. And good news – Dynamax Eevee can still evolve into all of its different evolved forms!
Heatran, Mega Ampharos, and Mega Manectric Raids (Ends on November 25)
Heatran will be available in five-star Raid battles until Tuesday at 10 am local time. Mega Ampharos and Mega Manectric will also appear in Mega Raids. Plus, you’ll have a chance to find shiny versions of all three Pokémon!
2025 Championship Series Cup and Master League: Mega Edition (Ends on November 25)
The 2025 Championship Series Cup began on November 18th and ends on November 25th at 4 PM Eastern Time. Players can only use Pokémon with a Combat Power (CP) of 1500 or less, and only those of the Ghost, Psychic, Dragon, Flying, or Ice types are permitted. The Master League: Mega Edition has no CP restrictions, but it also concludes on November 25th.
Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion Raid Battles (Ends on December 2)
From November 25th to December 2nd at 10 am local time, you’ll have a chance to battle Cobalion, Virizion, and Terrakion – three legendary Pokémon from the Pokémon Black and Pokémon White games (Generation 5) – in 5-Star Raids. On November 26th, from 6 to 7 pm in your local time zone, a special Raid Hour will take place featuring the legendary Pokémon trio.
Mega Aerodactyl, Mega Medicham, and Mega Garchomp in Mega Raids (Ends on December 2)
From now until December 2nd at 10:00 AM local time, Mega Aerodactyl, Garchomp, and Medicham will be appearing in Mega Raids. Plus, there’s a chance you might encounter their shiny versions!
Keldeo Resolute Form Debut and Tales of Transformation (Ends November 30)
Beginning tomorrow, November 25th, Pokémon GO players will be able to complete the final stages of the Tales of Transformation Special Research and obtain Keldeo in its Resolute Form. You can unlock this form by giving Keldeo 50 Candy, which will also teach it the Secret Sword Charged Attack. Plus, a shiny version of Keldeo will be available for the first time!
Buying the $7.99 Masterwork Research ticket in the shop will give you a task that lets you battle and potentially catch a Shiny Keldeo.
Catch Cup: Tales of Transformation (Ends December 2)
Beginning November 25th, players can join the Catch Cup: Tales of Transformation leagues. In the Great League, all Pokémon need to be at 1500 CP or lower and originally caught during the Tales of Transformation season (September 2nd to December 2nd). The Ultra League allows Pokémon up to 2500 CP, while the Master League has no CP limit.
Scraggy Spotlight Hour (November 25)
On November 25th, from 6 to 7 pm, Scraggy—a Dark and Fighting-type Pokémon—will appear much more frequently in the game for a Spotlight Hour! You’ll also earn double XP for every Pokémon you catch during that time.
Okay, so I’ve been using Scraggy and Scrafty a lot lately, and honestly, Feint, Snarl, and Foul Play are their best moves, hands down. Plus, evolving Scraggy into Scrafty is pretty easy – just give it 50 Candy and boom, you’re good to go!
Dynamax Lugia (Ends November 30)
From 6 AM to 9 PM local time on November 29th and 30th, Pokémon GO players will get their first opportunity to battle Dynamax Lugia.
Gastly is now appearing in five-star Max Battles, and a special research task will be available on November 25th, giving players Gastly Candy and a chance to encounter a Dynamax Gastly. Gastly and its evolutions are particularly effective against Dynamax Lugia, as Lugia is weak to Ghost-type attacks, along with Dark, Electric, Ice, and Rock. Plus, shiny Lugia will be available, so be sure to look out for it!
Pikipek Community Day (November 30)
Alright, so wrapping up the week in Pokemon GO, this Sunday is all about Pikipek for Community Day! From 2 to 5 pm local time, you’ll see a TON more Pikipek popping up. Plus, you can grab a ticket for some Special Research – it’ll give you Pikipek Candy and a chance to catch one. There’s also free Field Research available, and get this – those encounters can even be shiny! Definitely worth checking out.
Pikipek can evolve into Trumbeak with 25 Candy and into Toucannon with 100 Candy. If you evolve Pikipek into Toucannon during the event, or within four hours after it ends, it will learn the special charged attack, Beak Blast.
