A player of Pokemon GO has found a clever way to help others evolve their Pokemon faster in the popular mobile game. Pokemon GO has been keeping fans engaged with new Pokemon and forms throughout the recent “Tales of Transformation” season. With the new Halloween event now live, the game has added Poltchageist and Sinistcha from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. This fan’s trick offers a boost to the evolution process for all players.
Unlike the traditional Pokémon games where Pokémon get stronger by battling, Pokémon GO has a more complex evolution system. Players need specific Candies, and some Pokémon require special items like Sinnoh or Unova Stones to evolve. Certain evolutions are even tied to locations – for example, evolving an Eevee near a Mossy Lure Module guarantees it will become Leafeon. Recently, a Pokémon GO player discovered a way to make the evolution process happen faster.
A Reddit user named MarioHana14 recently discovered a faster way to evolve Pokémon in Pokémon GO. They posted a video to the Pokémon GO subreddit demonstrating that closing and reopening the app right as a Pokémon begins to evolve is much quicker than watching the full evolution animation. The animation takes around 20 seconds, but the app restart method only takes about 11 seconds. MarioHana14 confirmed they performed the test on an iPhone 15.
Pokemon GO Fan Shares Useful Evolution Trick
Many fans agreed with the original post, saying that Pokemon GO animations take too long. While some mentioned that animation speed can vary depending on a player’s device and internet connection, others noted that a quick evolution trick has been used for a while as a way to quickly earn experience points in the game.
In addition to its Halloween events, Pokemon GO has recently updated its leveling system. For the first time since 2020, the game’s level cap has been raised significantly, jumping from Level 50 to Level 80. The update also included a large number of rewards, which many players received and quickly filled their item storage. These changes should give Pokemon GO fans even more reason to continue enjoying the popular mobile game.
