As a dedicated Pokémon GO enthusiast with over a decade of experience under my belt, I must say that this Fashion Week event is nothing short of delightful! The return of costumed Pokémons and the added rewards have certainly spiced things up for us trainers.
The double Stardust and increased Candy XL are always welcome, especially as we continue our quest to power up our beloved pocket monsters. And let’s not forget about those shiny Kirlia roaming around – I’ve been waiting for one since the day they were introduced!
I remember when Fashion Week first made its debut; it was a breath of fresh air in the world of Pokémon GO, and it looks like it’s going to be even better this time around. With new Pokémons like Skitty and Buneary joining the party, I can’t wait to fill my Pokedex with these fashionable creatures!
Now, let me share a little secret: I once tried to dress up my Squirtle as a high-fashion model for a costume contest… it didn’t go as planned. But hey, at least now Squirtle can strut its stuff alongside the fashionable Pokémons of Fashion Week!
Until next time, trainers – let’s catch ’em all in style! 🕺🏻💃🏼🦃 (Because who doesn’t love a good turkey emoji joke?)
In 2025, the developer of Pokémon GO, Niantic, has announced that the popular Fashion Week event will return as one of the game’s early events for the year. During this event, players of Pokémon GO can encounter new Pokémon dressed in costumes and receive extra rewards thanks to various bonuses and Field Research tasks.
To kick off 2025, Pokemon GO marked New Year’s Day with a special event designed to excite fans about the upcoming year filled with updates and activities. Coming up in January, Pokemon GO plans to host a Mega Gallade Raid Day, another Community Day event, a temporary partnership with McDonald’s, and various other happenings – including Fashion Week! This adds yet another chance for players to snag attractive prizes.
As a long-time fan of both fashion and Pokemon, I am thrilled to announce that Pokemon GO Fashion Week is back! From my years of playing this game, I can confidently say that this event is always one of the most exciting ones. It runs from Friday, January 10 at 10:09 a.m., according to my local time, and will continue until Sunday, January 19, 2025, wrapping up at 8:00 p.m. local time. During this period, players like myself will reap double Stardust for capturing Pokemon, which is a fantastic boost that will undoubtedly help us level up faster and catch more of our favorite creatures.
Moreover, players who have reached level 31 or higher will find themselves twice as likely to receive Candy XL, making it easier to power up our Pokemon. The excitement doesn’t stop there, though – the chances of encountering a costumed shiny Kirlia in the wild are increased, along with costumed Diglett and Blitzle. If we complete Fashion Week Field Research tasks, we’ll be treated to sightings of costumed Butterfree, Dragonite, Minccino, and Cinccino, with the possibility of encountering a shiny variant.
The fun doesn’t end there! Skitty, Buneary, Furfrou, and Bruxish will appear more frequently in the wild during this event. I can hardly wait to see these costumed Pokemon roaming around my neighborhood and adding some extra flair to my collection. So mark your calendars, fellow trainers, and let’s get ready to strut our stuff in style during Pokemon GO Fashion Week!
