A top-notch team to defeat Giovanni in Pokemon GO consists of Machamp, Swampert, and either Xerneas or Togekiss. Given that Giovanni’s first pick is always the Normal-type Persian, you can take advantage of its Fighting-type vulnerability with Machamp. If Giovanni chooses Machamp again for round two, Machamp can be utilized repeatedly.
