Pokemon GO: How To Get Maushold Family of Three & Four

Pokemon GO: How To Get Maushold Family of Three & Four

As a dedicated Pokemon GO trainer with years of experience under my belt, I can’t help but be excited about the latest addition to our beloved game: Tandemaus and its evolutions, Maushold. Having played Pokemon Scarlet & Violet and been enchanted by this adorable Normal-type Pokemon, I was thrilled when Niantic announced its arrival in our mobile adventure.

Niantic has introduced a new Pokemon from the Paldea region named Tandemaus and its evolution Maushold into Pokemon GO. Fans are eager to find out how they can obtain the variants of this “Family of Three & Four.” Tandemaus and Maushold first appeared in the game during the Ultra Unlock: Better Together event. This event not only provides an opportunity to capture these adorable new Pokemon but also offers players a chance to catch various Hisuian forms.

In the new Pokemon Scarlet & Violet game, Tandemaus was introduced as a Normal-type Pokemon. Not many Pokemon have this feature of having multiple evolutions. However, unlike some Pokemon such as Eevee where players can choose which evolution they get by using specific items or methods, obtaining the different forms of Maushold can be quite challenging.

In Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, similar to how it works, the evolution of Tandemaus into Maushold is unpredictable for trainers. Trainers cannot tell beforehand if Tandemaus will evolve into a Family of Three or Four Mausholds when they press the evolve button. The specific probability of each outcome in Pokemon GO isn’t clear, but for comparison, there’s a 1 in 25 chance of getting a Family of Three Maushold and a much higher likelihood, approximately 24 in 25, of obtaining a Family of Four Maushold.

To obtain a Family of Three Maushold in Pokemon GO, players must focus on catching plenty of Tandemaus during Party Play encounters. The elusive evolution of these creatures is the key to adding this rare Pokemon family to your collection. Keep in mind that the shiny variant of Family of Three Maushold has not been introduced into the game yet and may become available through future events.

As a long-time Pokémon Go player, I’ve come across this common misconception many times – that the silhouette next to the Evolve button can be used to determine which evolution a Pokémon will get. Based on my personal experience and the information I’ve gathered from other trainers, I can confirm that this is not the case.
