The Pokemon GO event, Journey to Paldea, is adding the Pokemon Nacli, Naclstack, and Garganacl to the game for the first time. It begins on Tuesday, December 2nd at 10:00 AM local time and will last until 8:00 PM local time on December 9th.
Nacli, the Rock Salt Pokemon, and its evolved forms are the focus of this event. You can get another chance to encounter it by buying the ‘Journey to Paldea Premium Timed Research’ ticket for $1.99 in the shop.

Is the ‘Journey to Paldea’ Timed Research Ticket Worth It?
At only $2, the temporary research ticket is a great value and most players will likely buy it.
Finishing all the research tasks will give you seven chances to catch Larvitar, six chances to catch Bagon, one Nacli encounter, two Premium Battle Passes, and 3000 Stardust.
Head to the shop now and you can get three Battle Passes for just 250 Coins – that’s about $2! Plus, with increased chances of finding shiny Larvitar and Bagon during the Journey to Paldea event, you’re likely to catch at least one!
You’ll still have a better chance of finding Bagon and Larvitar until December 9th. Larvitar will be more common on December 2nd, 4th, 6th, and 8th, while Bagon will appear more often on December 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 9th.
If you’ve been trying to catch Salamence or Tyranitar, getting one of these Pokémon might make the event worth attending.
If you don’t like either of those Pokémon and aren’t interested in catching more Nacli to get Candy, then the ticket probably isn’t worth the cost.
