There’s some misunderstanding about when the level 80 update will be released in *Pokémon GO*. Unlike typical seasonal events, it doesn’t appear the update will launch on October 15th at midnight local time for all players.

As you level up in the game, you’ll unlock some cool cosmetic items. Reaching level 50 and 80 will get you the Great Ball Jacket, Ultra Ball Cap, Ultra Ball Shoes, and the Level 80 Jacket.
