As a dedicated Pokémon GO player, I’ve taken to the community forum to vent my frustration about the lengthy wait times associated with finishing Mighty and Mastery’s Special Research Tasks. These tasks within Pokémon GO consist of five segments, each requiring specific actions such as defeating three Team GO Rocket members or enhancing Pokémon ten times, along with engaging in conversations with Professor Willow.
As a dedicated gamer, I’ve been hooked on Pokémon GO since its debut in 2016. This captivating augmented reality game is accessible on both iOS and Android devices, inviting players like me to step outdoors and traverse our real-world neighborhoods to discover, capture, battle, and train Pokémon. Lately, there’s been a shift – the game has been sold to Scopely, known for creating Monopoly GO. As a longtime player under Niantic’s guidance for nearly a decade, I can’t help but feel a sense of apprehension about this new turn of events.
Hey there fellow gamers! Just wanted to share my thoughts on a recent issue I’ve been encountering in Pokemon GO. So, I’m currently working on completing some tasks for the ongoing season, and I’ve managed to finish three out of five so far. The game offers quite a few Special Research Tasks from Professor Willow, but the wait time between them is driving me crazy!
It seems that every time I complete a task, instead of being given the next one, all I get is this message saying “Professor Willow is currently investigating this research. Check back soon.” I’d much rather have a task that takes several days to complete than keep getting told to check back later. It makes me feel like the developers aren’t fully prepared with their plans and are just making it up as they go along. What do you guys think? Let me know if anyone else is experiencing this!
Pokemon GO Players Complain About Special Research Tasks’ Wait Time
As a dedicated Pokemon GO gamer, I must admit that the introduction of Dynamax Legendaries has certainly added an exciting new dimension to gameplay. Yet, despite this thrill, there’s been a persistent murmur of dissatisfaction in the comments section, with some players, like myself who tend to have OCD, expressing a desire for all tasks to be completed promptly. Others, however, seem unfazed by the wait, suggesting that Niantic might be strategically doling out content in a narrative style to keep us hooked on multiple days. Many also highlighted the fact that these research tasks are free, which is an added bonus.
The 18th season in Pokemon GO, titled Might and Mastery, started on March 4 and will end on June 3, introducing new elements and highlighted Pokemon to the game. Among this season’s features are more Stardust for the first catch of the day and a guaranteed Rare Candy XL when catching a five-star Raid Boss during Raid Hour events. Also, some featured Pokemon during this season include Regice as a Raid Boss, Growlithe from the southern regions, and Electrike from urban areas.
