As a seasoned Pokemon GO player with years of experience under my belt, I must say, the Dynamax update has truly taken the game to new heights! The addition of Power Spots and Max Particles have breathed fresh air into our beloved mobile adventure.
The long-awaited update for Pokemon GO has arrived, bringing along two exciting new elements: Power Spots and Max Particles!
Participants can join the current Max Out Special Research event to acquire Pokemon capable of Dynamaxing. For anyone unfamiliar with Power Spots and Max Particles, here’s a quick rundown:
Pokemon GO: Power Spots, Explained
On September 4th, Power Spots were introduced in Pokemon GO as part of the Max Out update. It’s important to mention that these Power Spots won’t be active until September 10th when the event officially begins. Similar to Dynamax in function, Power Spots are comparable to PokeStops and Gyms. However, they won’t replace PokeStops or Gyms entirely; instead, you’ll find them coexisting with them. Furthermore, it’s worth noting that the location of Power Spots isn’t fixed – their spawn points will change approximately every few days.
To locate power zones on the map, players should search for purple orbs. Alternatively, they can navigate to the ‘Nearby’ menu to find nearby Power Spots more easily. Upon reaching a Power Spot, players can utilize it to collect the maximum amount of particles. If a player has already maxed out their particles from a Power Spot, they must wait before getting more. Daily, players can amass up to 800 Max Particles and 100 Max Particles from a single Power Spot. Because Power Spots resemble Gyms, players can also engage in Dynamax Battles there. Additionally, if a player successfully defeats the boss at a Power Spot, they can place one of their Pokemon there to aid other trainers. This action will allow them to earn candy as well.
Pokemon GO: Max Particles Explained
As an avid Pokémon GO player, I can’t stress enough the significance of farming Max Particles in our game. These Max Particles are essential for participating in Dynamax battles. If you plan on taking on a Pokémon at one of the Power Spots, you’ll definitely need these Max Particles. They serve another crucial purpose too – to level up Max Moves. You see, certain Pokémons capable of Dynamaxing will have access to a unique type of move called Max Moves. To unlock these moves, players must spend Max Particles. What’s more, players can also use Max Particles to level up these Max Moves as well.
