Pokemon GO Psychic Spectacular 2025 Event Features Debut of Generation 8 Pokemon

The popular game, Pokemon GO, has announced that it’s bringing back the Psychic Spectacular event on September 16, which also introduces Indeedee into the game for the first time. This is another exciting event confirmed for Season 20 of Pokemon GO, revealing the benefits players can expect, including additional Pokemon, apart from Indeedee.

Indedeed, Indee is a unique Pokemon debuting in Generation 8 that doesn’t transform into or originate from any other creature. Distinctive characteristics set Indee apart, with males sporting upturned spiral horns and a more severe expression, compared to females who have downward-turned spiral horns and kinder eyes. Contrary to its somewhat ominous aesthetic, Indee derives power from the happiness it finds in serving fellow Pokemon and people. To aid in this mission, it uses its horns to perceive emotions and identify others’ requirements. First appearing in Pokemon Sword and Shield, Indee is now making its way into Niantic’s game, offering an intriguing addition to the monster lineup.

Pokemon GO Reveals New Event Featuring Indeedee and Shadow Pokemon

The game Pokémon GO is set to introduce a new event titled Psychic Spectacular: Taken Over, starting on September 16 at 10 am local time and running until September 21 at 8 pm. A key feature of this event will be the first appearance of Indeedee, which can be found in 5 km eggs with a possibility of being shiny.

Other Psychic/Normal-type Pokemon that may hatch from 5 km eggs during the event include Smoochum, Chingling, and Espurr. Three-star raids will feature Alolan Raichu, Hisuian Braviary, and Wyrdeer.

During this period, Niantic plans to boost the frequency of various Pokemon appearing in the game, such as Abra, Lunatone, Solrock, and Beldum.

During this event, Team GO Rocket members and their leaders will have new Pokemon, including Tornadus, Qwilfish, Swablu, Baltoy, and Deino. Furthermore, you’ll find new Field Research tasks offering rewards such as Fast TMs, Charged TMs, and Mysterious Components.
