Pokemon GO Reveals January 2026 GO Pass Rewards

Pokemon GO has announced the benefits of the January 2026 GO Pass, with Dialga as the featured Pokemon. The popular mobile game has been keeping fans engaged throughout late 2025, and recently started its Winter Holiday event on December 18th. This event introduced special festive versions of Pokemon like Sudowoodo and Charjabug, as well as increased appearances of ice-type Pokemon. Despite the current holiday festivities, the game’s developer, Scopely, is already planning content for 2026.

As 2025 comes to a close, Pokemon GO is already giving fans a glimpse of what’s coming next year. Scopely has announced details for the next Pokemon GO Tour event – GO Tour: Kalos – which will take place in cities worldwide in February. The popular GO Fest will also be back in 2026, with major celebrations planned for June in the United States, Germany, and Japan. Now, Pokemon GO is starting 2026 with its first premium GO Pass of the year.

Pokémon GO has announced the details for its January 2026 GO Pass on social media. This month’s pass includes a special encounter with the legendary Pokémon Dialga, and players will even have a chance to find a shiny version! The Deluxe GO Pass will also give players a Lucky Trinket, a rare item that instantly makes one of their in-game friends a Lucky Friend. The January 2026 GO Pass launches on January 6th at 10:00 A.M. local time and will be available until February 3rd at 10:00 A.M. local time.

The latest Pokemon GO Pass offers more than just featured Pokemon – it’s packed with rewards for January! Players who purchase the pass will earn extra Stardust, XP, and Max Particles all month long. The Deluxe version includes a Super Incubator and other valuable items like Premium Battle Passes, Incense, and Lure Modules. As you progress through the tiers, you’ll get even more benefits, including increased Gift limits, longer-lasting Daily Adventure Incense, and bonus rewards for completing raids.

Throughout January, Pokemon GO players will have many opportunities to increase their GO Pass levels. Scopely has announced two Community Days – one featuring Piplup on January 4th and another with Grookey on January 18th. To start the year, Pokemon GO is also hosting a special event with costumed New Year’s Pokemon like Pikachu, Hoothoot, and Jigglypuff. Plus, a new ninth-generation Pokemon, Klawf, will be introduced with the Pinch Perfect event, along with a shiny version of Dhelmise.

In addition to the holiday events, Scopely has recently updated Pokemon GO with some great new features. Players can now Remote Trade with each other thanks to the new “Forever Friends” status, a higher tier of friendship in the game. A new Research event is also underway, giving players another chance to earn the rare Master Ball through a special Research task called “A Precious Catch.” There’s a lot to be excited about for Pokemon GO players in the years ahead.
