Pokemon GO Reveals New Shiny Debut for Upcoming November 2025 Event

The upcoming High Voltage event in Pokémon GO will introduce shiny Morpeko to the game! Players will have multiple opportunities to catch Morpeko when the event starts later this November.

2025 has been a busy year for Pokémon GO players, with lots of new creatures appearing in events. We recently saw Poltchageist and Sinistcha added during the Halloween event, and in October, the game’s leveling system was updated with better rewards and a new level cap of 80. The developers are continuing to add content, and have previewed a new shiny Pokémon that will soon be available to collect.

Pokemon GO‘s High Voltage Event Adds Shiny Morpeko

Okay, so the new High Voltage event in Pokemon GO is gonna be awesome! They’re finally releasing shiny Morpeko, which I’ve been waiting for! The event kicks off November 18th and runs until November 22nd. There are a bunch of ways to try and snag one – through Field Research tasks, some special paid Timed Research, a Collection Challenge, battling in the GO Battle League, and even just by taking snapshots of Pokemon! Plus, they’re boosting the spawn rates of Emolga, Dedenne, and Togedemaru, and those guys will also have a better chance of being shiny. They might even increase how often Shinx shows up, which is great! I’m definitely gonna be playing a lot during this event.

In addition to the featured Pokémon, the High Voltage event will include some extra perks. You’ll earn double XP for making Nice, Great, and Excellent Throws, and double Stardust just for catching Pokémon. A special Collection Challenge will let you earn even more rewards and encounter Morpeko. Plus, completing Field Research tasks will give you chances to catch various Electric-type Pokémon.

The High Voltage event in Pokemon GO is a great opportunity for players to catch Electric-type Pokemon. Although this event only features a new shiny Pokemon, future events will introduce even more creatures to the game. Recently, on November 4th, the Enchanted Hollow event began, letting players collect Tarountula and Spidops.

It’ll be exciting to see what future updates and content the game developers release, starting in 2025. Although Pokemon TCG Pocket earned more in its first year than Pokemon GO, both mobile games are expected to remain popular for a long time.
