Pokemon GO Reveals Part 2 Content for Halloween 2025 Event

Niantic has announced the next phase of the yearly Halloween celebration in Pokemon GO, bringing new Pokemon encounters and other features later this month. Because Pokemon GO is a constantly updated mobile game, it regularly hosts limited-time events and updates to keep players interested, and holidays like Halloween are a key part of that strategy.

Every October, *Pokemon GO* celebrates Halloween with a special event. These events usually include new quests, Pokemon wearing costumes, and more appearances of Dark and Ghost-type Pokemon. In the past, like last year, Pokemon like Froakie and Rowlet were seen with fun outfits – Froakie with a witch hat and Rowlet with a top hat – and those costumes carried over as they evolved. Niantic plans to continue this tradition later this month with their Halloween 2025 event.

Pokemon GO Halloween Event Part 2 Details

Players of *Pokemon GO* recently experienced the first part of the Halloween event, including new Pokemon appearances and costumed creatures. But the fun isn’t over yet! Niantic has announced the second part of the event, starting October 27th and lasting until November 2nd. This time, Teddiursa and Noibat will be featured in costumes – Teddiursa will wear a witch hat, and Noibat will sport a headband. When these Pokemon evolve, their costumes will remain.

During the event, you’ll get extra bonuses! Costumed Pokémon have a chance to reward you with Rare Candy and Rare Candy XL if you make Nice, Great, or Excellent Throws. New Field Research tasks will be available, along with special rewards if you have the Halloween GO Pass. You’ll find Halloween-themed Pokémon in One- and Three-Star Raids, like Tricks & Treats Gengar, Halloween Mischief Pikachu, Piplup, and Drifblim. Finally, keep an eye out for Yamask and Phantump appearing in Shadow Raids in Pokémon GO.

Just like in previous Halloween events, *Pokémon GO* will feature a spooky remix of the classic Lavender Town theme from the original Game Boy *Pokémon* games each night. The game world will also get a Halloween makeover, with decorated Pokémon encounters, PokéStops, and Gyms. Plus, players can find new items in the in-game shop, like a Polteageist Hat for their avatar and special Halloween stickers.
