I remember participating in previous events and the thrill of catching new and shiny Pokemon, completing research tasks, and enjoying the various bonuses that came with it.
At Pokemon GO Fest 2024, the organizers presented players with a task: by finishing a sufficient number of challenges during the event, they could unlock special features called Ultra Unlocks. These Ultra Unlocks consisted of three distinct phases: the initial phase was named “Better Together,” while the second one was titled “Strength of Steel.”
At the Strength of Steel Ultra Unlock in Pokemon GO, players have an exclusive opportunity to catch a shimmering Togedemaru as a first-ever shiny variant. Moreover, this event is packed with various perks, such as encounters, bonuses, research tasks, and much more for participants to enjoy. All Event Bonuses & Research For The Strength of Steel Event In Pokemon GO
During the event, players will enjoy additional rewards for their catches. Catching Pokemon will yield more Candy for the player, and they will also receive an increased amount of Stardust. Here’s a summary of the bonuses that have been announced for the duration of the event.
- Additional Candy XL for catching Pokemon for anyone level 31 and up.
- Increased chance for anyone level 31 and up to receive Candy XL for catching Pokemon with Nice Throws or better
- Additional Candy for Nice Throws or better
- 3× Stardust for catching Pokemon
While conducting research, trainers may come across these Pokemon species (all with the potential to be Shiny), as well as obtain Mega Energy for Steelix, Scizor, and Aggron.
