Pokemon GO Ursaluna Evolution Guide: Full Moon Schedule 2025-2026

If you’re trying to catch every Pokemon in Pokemon GO, Ursaluna can be tricky. This newer evolution of Ursaring (first appearing in Pokemon Legends: Arceus) requires you to evolve Ursaring specifically during a Full Moon. Since full moons don’t happen often, you’ll need to plan ahead to make sure you don’t miss your chance.

This guide lists the dates of all full moons in 2025 and 2026. Knowing these dates will help you evolve your Ursaring into Ursaluna and progress in your Pokémon journey!

The full moons in Pokémon GO don’t always match up exactly with real-world full moons, so the in-game dates and times aren’t always reliable. The best way to evolve Ursaring during a full moon is to play at night during a full moon in your area and check the evolution screen. Some players have had success evolving it even a few hours after the full moon is said to have begun. It looks like the game developers need to manually activate the full moon effect, so stay tuned and keep checking!

Evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna

Teddiursa evolves into Ursaring with 50 Candies. Then, to evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna, you’ll need another 100 Candies, but it can only evolve during a full moon. Here are the dates of the next few full moons (Eastern Time) to help Pokémon GO players prepare. While the exact times might vary slightly, these dates should be fairly accurate.
